Production & Quality Control

Water absorption test: porcelain tiles must meet <0.5% absorption; ceramic <3% per ISO 10545-3 standards.
Dimensional calibration: rectified tiles checked for consistent size (±0.3mm) and squareness to ensure tight grout joints.
Surface quality: each tile inspected for pinholes, glaze defects, color consistency within the batch, and shade variation.
Mechanical strength: breaking strength test (minimum 1300N for porcelain) and abrasion resistance rating (PEI class per application).
Slip resistance: pendulum or ramp testing for specified R-rating (R9-R13) for safety-critical floor areas.
